Lovely’s beginnings centered around our fields of fresh grown sweet corn. This is how we got our start… fresh picked sweet corn daily. Last year, Lovely’s grew many varieties of sweet corn, white, yellow, and bi-color corn. Many have unusual names and our customers certainly have their favorites. On some days, we have all three as a choice! We stagger our plantings so as to have fresh sweet corn throughout the summer and fall.
Our customers can actually try the different types of sweet corn in our cafe. The "Corn of the Day" sign goes up when we begin picking fresh corn. From field to pot, can't get much fresher than that!.
Did I mention our homegrown Tennessee Tomatoes? We are so fortunate to have our tomato man deliver fresh picked tomatoes beginning in mid-May throughout the summer. If you've never enjoyed a Tennessee Tomato, you are in for a treat! They are DELICIOUS!!!!
